NAME
        editors - How to edit files locally.


DESCRIPTION
	There are many ways to edit your files locally, and it all
	depends on what OS you are using.

	_Emacs_
	Most people use Emacs, it is powerful, versitile and not very
	userfriendly. It runs on most platforms these days, like
	UNIX (in all flavors) and NT.

	_Programmer's_File_Editor_
	A powerful editor for windows 3.11, 95, 98 and NT.
	This editor has support for UNIX files, which is very++ handy.
	It seems development of this editor stopped sometime in late
	2000.
